“Rigged,” Mollie Hemingway’s patriotic service, on the anniversary of The Big Steal

In “If the problem be electoral, how can the solution be? Thoughts on our parlous state,” published January 7th of this year, the day after the political equivalent of a Democrat Party Reichstag Fire evicted The Big Steal from the headlines, I asked how we could wait patiently for another election cycle. What they did a year ago today, and during the years leading up to November 3, 2020, they could do again, effectively perverting this country into a one-party dictatorship.

In the months since, I’ve wondered whether the truth about the war against Trump’s 80 million-strong base (Trump himself is but one man), a war I had followed daily for over five years, could ever vacuum up the corrupt media’s smokescreen.

Without election integrity, which was eviscerated last year, a citizenry in a nominal republic has the potential to become either an aggregate of slaves or an army of soldiers in a kinetic civil war.

Where could people open to the truth find a patient, comprehensive rebuttal of academedia’s bodyguard of liars? How can people who wouldn’t be caught dead searching conservative websites consider what is, for them, the unthinkable?

We now have the answer: they can read Mollie Hemingway’s Rigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections (Regnery, October 12, 2021). Her patriotic service justifies a qualified hope that, “Yes, truth can win out.” You can read Rigged, and you can put it in their hands.

Hemingway, the eloquent, soft-spoken conservative author, columnist and commentator, a senior editor at The Federalist and Fox News contributor, will not scare off your liberal relatives. In her book, she painstakingly, but never boringly, explores how Democrat operatives, led by corrupt officials and financed by the “Big Money” they excoriated not many years ago, exploited the pandemic to make mail-in ballots the rule, not the exception thereto, and to enact voting “reforms” that make a mockery of “one person, one vote.”

Then she documents the corruption that predictably followed.

At nearly every critical juncture, in key district after district in swing state after swing state, Team Trump could not get the judicial relief needed to investigate prima facie voter fraud when it mattered. The Democrats cared only about winning by hook and crook. The numbers of questionable, disputable votes always exceeded the margins of Biden’s “victories.”

Here’s Regnery’s product information on Rigged:

Stunned by the turbulence of the 2020 election, millions of Americans are asking the forbidden question: what really happened?

It was a devastating triple punch. Capping their four-year campaign to destroy the Trump presidency, the media portrayed a Democratic victory as necessary and inevitable. Big Tech, wielding unprecedented powers, vaporized dissent and erased damning reports about the Biden family’s corruption. And Democratic operatives, exploiting a public health crisis, shamelessly manipulated the voting process itself. Silenced and subjected, the American people lost their faith in the system.

RIGGED is the definitive account of the 2020 election. Based on Mollie Hemingway’s exclusive interviews with campaign officials, reporters, Supreme Court justices, and President Trump himself, it exposes the fraud and cynicism behind the Democrats’ historic power-grab.

Rewriting history is a specialty of the radical left, now in control of America’s political and cultural heights. But they will have to contend with the determination, insight, and eloquence of Mollie Hemingway. RIGGED is a reminder for weary patriots that truth is still the most powerful weapon. The stakes for our democracy have never been higher.

With Rigged, Hemingway has done yeoman’s (yeowoman’s?) work for the cause of freedom. Our task is to put it in the hands of family members, friends, and co-workers who are open to evidence and argument.

We need to digest her graceful condensation of a massive amount of information. No more excuses for them, or for us.

As of today, Rigged is No. 53 of all books on Amazon, and

Won’t you join the people behind those encouraging numbers?

  1. Trump’s base is 80 million??? lol\

He got 74 million votes and many of those, like many of Biden’s were anti-votes, not pro-Trump ones. Trump’s disapproval rating is 56%, but yes, 80 million base.

BTW, Trump and the GOP lost around 70 court cases and judges heard the “evidence” in many of them. Any assertions otherwise are lies. And Trump signaled his strategy prior to the election. Everyone knew it was coming which is why GOP legislatures in numerous battleground states made sure early votes were not tabulated ahead of time, insuring Trump would have early leads and could lie to his gullible flock after he lost.

    1. “Rigged” (whose documented case for a decisive lack of electoral integrity last year seems to be of no interest to you) shows that disputable “votes” for Biden—the yield of arguably unconstitutional voter rule changes and the fraud that predictably follows—were many multiples of his margin of “victory” in key districts in swing states, in many cases massively funded by Zucker Bucks.

It doesn’t surprise me that many jurists, including SCOTUS justices, refused to consider evidence (but see Justice Thomas’s and Justice Alito’s courageous dissents): in a riot-torn, cancel-culture country, who wants to be seen as the reason why the country is dealing with a “settled” election (given the anti-Trump crowd’s demonstrated propensity for violence when things don’t go their way)?

As for “signaling,” what was Mrs. Clinton doing in August 2020 when she implored Biden not to concede “under any circumstances”? Was she concerned that perhaps, despite all the dirty tricks—highlighted by the video of boxes of ballots being pulled from under tables after GOP poll watchers were sent home after a false “water main break” report—they might not be able to pull it off (again!)? That’s what happens in rigged elections: Boss Tweed types ascertain the number of votes needed to secure the win and then produce a tad over that number.

Yes, I rounded Trump’s base up to 80 million. Sue me. Eligible voters who didn’t like Biden, but couldn’t bring themselves to vote for Trump, stayed home. Not gifted with the ability to read minds, I take a vote for Trump to be a pro-Trump, not just an anti-Biden, vote. The massive, enthusiastic crowds Trump repeatedly draws on a moment’s notice (compared to Biden’s parking lot affairs, where pro-Trump hecklers often drown him out) reinforce the impression that dirty tricks account for the official results of the last general election.
